| Peter Pahk, Executive Chef of Napa Valley's Silverado Resort, along with Snake River Farms, purveyors of hormone and antibiotic free beef and pork, hosted a gathering of premier chefs in the Napa Valley for a food and wine pairing second to none! The event was staged to celebrate and feature sustainable cuisine. Benesserra Winery, with winemaker Chris Deardon poured wines that were wonderfully compatible to the varied and elegant cuisine.

Sustainable shrimp purveyor, Michael LaVecchia, also featured farm raised "monster" head on prawns. Chefs prepared small plates that ranged from Beef Tongue Salad to Kurobuta "Black Pig" BLT open faced sandwiches. The chefs came from Napa Valley's most recognized and awarded restaurants, including Philippe Jeanty of Bistro Jeanty, Greg Cole of Celadon and Cole's Chop House, Ron Boyd of Domain Chandon, Peter Halikas of Dean and Delucca, Todd Humpheries of Martini House, Ryan Jackson of Brix as well as host Peter Pahk of the Silverado Resort. The event succeeded in bringing together fine cuisine, matched wines and an excited crowd of food lovers.
