Silverado Resort is committed to using local, artisanal and sustainable cuisine. Silverado’s philosophy about our menu items is that it is simply the best that we can buy. What is taken out of the environment is put back in so that land and resources, e.g. water, soil, and air can be replenished and are available to future generations.

Additionally, Silverado uses plastic and paper products, which are made from corn and sugar cane. These products utilize 20-50% less fossil resources and potentially reduce the CO2 in the atmosphere. These plastic and paper products can break down to compost, which can be used to grow more corn and sugar cane.

Silverado remains committed to help educate the community, our guests, and other chefs about the sustainable program in order to ensure a healthy future for everyone.
