Napa Valley Wedding FAQ for Silverado Resort

What does your facility fee include?

Bridal dressing room, tables, chairs, floor length white or ivory linen, white or ivory napkins, china, flatware, stemware, water goblets, printed menus and six votive candles per table.

 

Does Silverado offer group rates for accommodations for my guests?

Yes, if you choose to have a wedding with Silverado, we will extend a discounted rate to your guests. To receive the discount, you’ll need to set up a block of rooms with our wedding specialist.

 

Can we bring in our own caterer/chef?

No, Silverado does not allow outside catering.

 

Do you have a time limit as to the length of a wedding?

The pricing includes a six hour event. You are welcome to purchase overtime at an additional charge of
$ 1000.00 per hour. There are certain restrictions on the Grove venue.

 

When does a typical wedding begin and end?

The Grove weddings begin at 4:00 pm and must conclude by 10:00 pm because of the noise ordinance. There are no exceptions to this end time. The majority of Grove weddings continue their celebration in our Main Lounge where we have live entertainment and bar.

 

All other venues begin at 6:00 pm and conclude at 12:00 am.

 

Can we extend the six hour period?

Yes, overtime can be purchased for $ 1000.00 per hour. If your wedding is held in the Grove, we would begin early as we must end by 10:00 pm.

 

When is last call in your Main Lounge?

Last call is at 1:00 am resort wide

 

Can we pre-order more than one entrée option for our guests?

Yes, you are welcome to order up to two different entrée options, however all entrées will all have the same accompaniments (starch and vegetables), and you are required to give us a breakdown seven business days prior to your event as well as provide place cards that denote each guest’s entrée selection. You will be charged the higher price for all entrées chosen.

 

Can you guarantee that all of our guests will be located in the same area and all of my rooming requests will be honored?

We cannot accept any special location or grouping requests because of our unique situation. Our hotel rooms are privately owned, furnished and decorated and spread out amongst our 1200 acre property.

 

Do you offer group rates for golf and spa services?

Currently there are no discounts available at the Spa. If you book 20 or more players for golf, we will extend a 10% discount off our current golf rate.

 

Can we hold our ceremony at Silverado and reception elsewhere?

Silverado requires that you hold a food and beverage event such as a lunch or dinner following your Napa Valley wedding ceremony.

 

Can we bring in our own liquor?

You are welcome to bring in your own wine and pay the corkage fee of $20.00 ++ per bottle. All other alcohol for your wedding will be purchased through Silverado.

 

Can we order our wedding cake through Silverado?

Yes, however we want you to know that we do not specialize in wedding cakes. Your choices for the cake are chocolate or vanilla, fruit or chocolate filling with a butter cream frosting.
