Plan Your Napa Valley Getaway - Day Three

So you’ve done quite a bit of wine tasting and you want to change it up. Silverado Resort and Spa offers two PGA Golf Courses for you to play on. Begin your day with a stop at the Silverado Market & Bakery.  Enjoy a cup of Starbucks Coffee and fresh baked goods and pastry from Bouchon Bakery, Model Bakery and from Silverado's own pastry chefs. The sun has a gentle rise on the North Course illuminating the fairway on Hole 1 and you crack the first swing. Or, if tennis is more your game, Silverado features 10 courts and daily clinics.  By the time you know it you’ve played the 18 holes or a couple sets of tennis and its now 11 am. You are ready for quick lunch up valley before more wine tasting.  Stop by Gott’s Roadside Burger in St. Helena. It’s a classic burger joint with hearty food that never misses. Next you can stop by Castello di Amorosa. A 13th century Tuscan style castle reconstructed in Calistoga piece by piece about 20 years ago. The Castle, as they call it, boasts a chapel, a moat, a dungeon, torture chamber and a petting zoo. They close at 6 pm.
