Discover An Eco-Friendly Stay In Napa Valley
May 11, 2021
When you’re in Napa Valley, beauty can be found everywhere you turn—to the northeast, rolling hills create a stunning, towering backdrop, and to the southwest, golden sunsets wash miles of vineyards in orange and red hues.
If you’re anything like us, venturing out to discover this wonder is all too enticing. In honor of our home, where every day feels like Earth Day with events and escapes centered around nature, we’re showing you how we love to spend afternoons here.
Begin your day by stretching out the stress with Yoga and POP Pilates on the Mansion Lawn under the shade of swaying palm trees before energizing to encounter the world just beyond the Silverado Resort and Spa.
Only a 10-minute drive south from us, the Skyline Wilderness Park’s 25 miles of walking, biking and equestrian trails twist and wind through the surrounding area, offering a glimpse into untouched life. Here, you can soak up the fresh air in the park’s disc golf course, take aim at the archery club or simply become mesmerized by the local flora and fauna.
After exploring the wilder side, stop into town for the monthly Farmers Market and pick out some fresh produce and vegetables to snack on before embarking on a tour through some of the region’s most eco-friendly wineries, including CADE, which boats Napa Valley first 100% LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certified Estate winery, as well as the Certified Napa Green St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery, which focuses on sauvignon blanc, cabernet sauvignon and additional red varietals.
Once you’re back with us, there’s no better way to close out your day than at The Grill, our on-resort restaurant that serves seasonal dishes inspired by and created from farm-fresh ingredients.
We can’t wait for you to join us and see nature through a new lens. To learn more about the Silverado Resort and Spa, visit our website here!
