Day Trip to Yountville

Whether you head there with the Santa Train experience (Napa Valley Wine Train) or venture out in the rental, heading to Yountville is definitely a holiday must this season. Attracting many from near and far, The Yountville Community Center transforms into Santa's Village during the holiday season where you can enjoy the Annual Yountville Town & Tree event on November 21st. Head to the community center sometime during your stay to also work closely with Wreaths Across America. Here, you’ll be able to donate $15 towards a wreath that will be laid at a Veterans grave, December 18th during the National Wreaths Across America Ceremony.

Calistoga Lighted Tractor Parade

Since 1995, the Annual Calistoga Lighted Tractor Parade has lit up downtown Calistoga with holiday magic. After canceling the show last year, the 25th anniversary will officially be celebrated this year, December 4th, with more dazzled tractors than ever before! All live trees will be donated afterward to families who have been affected this year by wildfires. The event is free and you want to get a good spot- the show starts at 7 p.m!

Holiday Wine Tours

All under half an hour away from Silverado, these wineries welcome you with special holiday events that will keep you warm and buzzing! Larson Family Winery invites the kids on December 4th to take their pics with Santa from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Parents can taste wine and enjoy small bites at this free-entry event. The next day on December 5th, Raymond Vineyards celebrates their Holiday Open House with food and drinks, as well as a community gift drive. Then on December 11th, you can head to Merryvale Vineyards for Merryvale Annual Holiday Dinner; a delicious 6 p.m. dinner experience followed by a night of dancing! Merryvale is also home to Winter Wine Pairing the entire month of November and December; for $65, guests can enjoy a wine flight of five and the perfect snack to pair with each bite.
