Your Spa Questions Answered

What Time Can I Come To The Spa?

Our daily hours of operation are from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Spa treatments are available from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Salon services are available from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

When Should I Make My Spa Reservation?

Please call as far in advance as possible to ensure the availability of your requested services.

How Early Should I Arrive For My Spa Appointment?

We suggest arriving 30 minutes prior to your first treatment, allowing yourself time to check in, change, and familiarize yourself with our spa.

What Do I Need To Bring To The Spa?

Yourself. The Spa at Silverado provides you with a robe and sandals. In addition, we also supply all the amenities for your hair- and body-care needs.

What Not To Bring To The Spa

In order for everyone to enjoy the Spa, we ask that you please don’t bring any electronic devices — i.e. pager, cell phone, or laptop. We are also an alcohol- and smoke-free environment.

What should I wear for my treatment?

Many guests prefer to be unclothed during bodywork, and are always covered with a sheet/blanket. However, you may undress to your individual comfort level. Your therapist will undrape one area of your body at a time to work, and will cover that area before moving on to the next. Our therapists all adhere to the highest standard of ethical and professional behavior.

How do I make a request for a particular provider?

You may request a therapist based on gender or massage style, or, specifically, by name. All of our therapists are highly skilled, and each brings unique qualities to the bodywork they perform. Male therapists are, naturally, stronger, and are sometimes preferred for deep tissue work. However, both female and male therapists are capable of light and deep work alike. All of our therapists will leave you feeling better than when you arrived.

What If I Am Running Late?

Arriving late will limit the time of your Spa service, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your Napa Valley body treatment will end at the scheduled time to accommodate the next guest’s scheduled appointment.

What If I Can’t Make My Spa Service?

If you need to cancel your appointment, please notify the Spa at least four hours prior to your first appointment. Failing to do so will result in a 50% service charge. A “No Show” is charged at full rate.

What Else Can I Do At The Spa?

The Spa facilities include private men’s and women’s steam room, sauna, and whirlpool, a 25-meter heated lap pool, and a full fitness center with cardio equipment and free weights. Ask a Spa coordinator to share our fitness class schedule with you.

What Is the Tipping Policy?

For your convenience, there is a 20% service charge added to all services. The service charge is designated for the service providers and support staff. Additional gratuity is appreciated and accepted for exceptional service.

How Do I Bring the Spa Experience Home With Me?

Stop by the Spa Boutique to purchase the same products used in our treatments. The Spa in Napa Valley also offers gift certificates, ideal for any occasion.

Is there an Age Restriction to use the Fitness Suite?

Available to all resort guests 16 and older, the fitness center at Silverado Resort has something for everyone, including group exercise classes, personal training, free weights, assisted weight machines, and outdoor running and stretching areas.
