    JOHN WESTON

    Tennis Professional

John played collegiately at the University of Redlands where he was a three-time All-Conference Performer, two-time Division III All-American, and partnered to win the NCAA Doubles National Championship his junior year. After college John competed in professional tournaments across Europe before returning to the states to begin his tennis teaching career. The son of a tennis coach and tennis club director, John grew up in and around the game which provided him insight into running tennis programs and racquet clubs from a young age. His formative years were spent on courts in nearby Marin and Monterey counties. As an adult, John found his second love in golf, a foray that lasted over a decade, with him joining the PGA of America and working as a golf professional at various clubs around the state. In 2017, John returned to the game he knows best, tennis, bringing his teaching experience to Silverado Resort. John says his colleagues and friends here make his role wholeheartedly fulfilling.
